Magyar Világtalálkozó, Balatonlelle 2011

If I remember right, it's been already 16 years that I have visited Lake Balaton... In Tihany for a seminar, before that also in Tihany as a young family, three of us with the baby, before that in Balatonszepezd at a training camp with the folk dance group of my hometown, and in pioneer camps a couple of times, in Zánka - hm... how do you say this in English: in a training camp for leaders of the smallest pioneer units (=őrsvezetőképző)... and as a child, two times in Balatonlelle with my family.
Now I was excited to go to Lelle again, to see how has the Hungarian Sea changed during this good 1.5 decades. However, I didn't see much of it, for I was invited to perform for the Global Summit of Hungarians and I hardly had time to look around.
But in that short time, I was of course, clicking away; a few pictures, enjoy:
Ha jól emlékszem, 16 éve is van már, hogy a Balatonnál jártam... Tihanyban egy szemináriumon, előtte szintén Tihanyban fiatal családként hármasban a pici babával, előtte Balatonszepezden, néptáncos edzőtáborban, meg párszor úttörőtáborban, Zánkán őrsvezetőképző táborban... és gyerekként Balatonlellén kétszer, családi üdülés.
Most izgatottan készültem ismét Lellére, hogy meglássam, mit változott a magyar tenger a bő másfél évtized alatt. Sokat viszont nem láttam belőle, mert a Magyar Világtalálkozóra hívtak meg fellépni, és alig volt időm körülnézni.
Abban a rövid időben természetesen szorgalmasan kattintgattam; íme néhány kép:

The weather wasn't too kind, but at least it honored me so that in those few hours there was no rain. Maybe for ten minutes, I had a chance to run down to the water:
Az időjárás nem volt valami kegyes, de legalább annyira megtisztelt, hogy abban a néhány órában nem esett. Talán tíz percre sikerült is kiszaladnom a vízhez:

On the stage before me, the Traditional Folklore Group from Kalocsa gave a great performance, we were singing and dancing along backstage:
A színpadon előttem a Kalocsai Hagyományőrző Együttes adott remek hangulatú műsort; a színpad mellett-mögött velük együtt énekeltünk-táncoltunk:

Lake Balaton from the train, on the way to Lake Velence, which I visited now for the first time in my life... But that will be another story.
A Balcsi a vonatablakból, úton a Velencei-tóhoz, ahol most jártam életemben először... De az már egy másik történet lesz.
